We Love Fall

We love this time of year. The leaves are turning such gorgeous colors and the air is getting cooler. There are always such fun things to do in the Fall and the weather is so much more comfortable                                 This is the view looking out into our back yard. The leaves have been so beautiful around here and I have meant to get out and take some pictures. We have been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to do that and it rained the other day which made a lot of the leaves drop.                                 Even though it is the middle of October so many of our herbs are still producing a good harvest. Our Apple Sage is so prolific and it smells wonderful and tastes so good.                                I have been having a lot of fun making our own veggie broth. It is so delicious and tastes better than any store bought broth.                                 I saw this awesome recipe for roasted herb onions, It called for sun dried tomatoes. I used some of the grape tomatoes from our garden that I had dehydrated along with a Tuscan blend of herbs from our herb garden. They turned out amazing.

We have had an abundance of grape and cherry tomatoes this year. I took a mixture of them put them in a roasting pan, added a little olive oil salt and pepper. roasted them for about 40 minutes They turned out really tasty.

Our son has always liked carving pumpkins. He and his dad have carved  many of them and it is so fun to see him doing the same thing with our grandson.

Are the leaves pretty in your area and do you have any special things you cook when Fall gets here?

We have a new Coconut Milk Honey Oatmeal bar that is super skin softening.                                  We also have some new lip balms. One of my favorites is the new Spearmint Lavender.                                 Oh but this is the one that I have been so happy to have!!! I can already see and FEEL such a difference! Check out this and our other new products at  Eco Natural   Remember all of our products are all natural, organic and chemical free!

So jealous that your garden is still producing things. I think ours is officially kaput for the year, we had multiple frosts already, and they pretty much killed everything. By the way, totally agree that homemade broths and stocks are WAY better than store-bought. We try to make our own whenever possible, but sometimes we have to buy them and it just isn’t quite the same.

The leaves look gorgeous there! Ours don’t look quite as nice this year. Maybe it was too dry. Am still enjoying what we’ve got, though! :)
