All Natural Masks And Growers Secret

I always like in the Fall to rehydrate with some all natural masks. I love loving fresh ingredients from the kitchen                                                     Mango Mask

1/4 medium mango

2T finely powered oats

2 T finely powered almonds

2 T almond milk

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process about a minute. It should be smooth and creamy. Gently pat over clean face and relax for about 15 minutes. Rinse well.

                                                 Avocado Mask

1/2 avocado mashed

3-4 T mayonnaise

1-2 T lemon juice

Blend all ingredients together and apply to a clean damp face. Leave on 10-15 minutes and then rinse well.

There are a lot of good facial recipes that use pumpkin so this is a great time of year to find all kinds of varieties of them,

Do you ever make facial recipes from fresh fruits and veggies?

I also want to tell you about a wonderful product that I was asked to review. It is called Growers Secret. This company was founded in the Hawaiian Islands in 1998. It was discovered by a biologist on the island of Maui.He found that this formula signals  plants internal systems to operate more efficiently there by getting more access and benefit from fertilizers and other soil nutrients. Growers Secret Pro has been shown to encourage plants to grow up to 30% larger, reduce growing cycles and reduce pathogens and pests!!

This is what our Basil looked like when we first planted it. We put the Grower’s Secret on it  and then a few days later we added fertilizer. It has been amazing! We have never had our herbs grow this well. So I totally see how they can say that it makes them grow 30% more!!

This picture shows just a portion of the Basil we cut for our first harvest. We have since then cut this much and more two more times! You can see our garden in the background in this picture. We put the Grower’s Secret on all of the veggies as well.We have used  fish emulsion  in the past and have really liked it but it just smelled awful! This is so great because it has a lavender smell. I have used it on our houseplants which include an 8 foot ficus tree, a palm and one of my favorite plants a Ming Ariela and it has made such a difference in them. They carry an array of great products from starter to professional. If you get a chance check them out at   Grower’s Secret. Another wonderful thing about this company is that they use 100% post consumer plastic and ship in 80% recycled cardboard boxes. All of their printed materials are manufactured using 90% solar power!! How awesome is that?

If you fertilize your plants can you tell a difference in how much they grow?

I will announce the winner of our all natural organic mineral makeup giveaway this week.

Also our Pumpkin Spice bars are back for the Fall season. These bars are made with real pumpkin which is very nourishing to your skin and the spices make it an exfoliating bar as well. An extra plus is that it makes your bathroom smell amazing. So check it out at  Eco Natural

Also don’t forget to leave your blog link with your comment so that I can easily come back and visit you.

Grower’s Secret sent me a generous amount of their products to use and review but all of the content and opinions in this review are my own.

oh wow! Grower’s Secret seems pretty amazing. On a side note, I would probably not be able to use the mangoes for a facial mask. I wouldn’t be able to resist eating them! Got here from Small Footprint’s site. :)

I, like Sara, would not be able to make those masks without eating the fruit. ;-)
I definitely notice a difference when I don’t fertilize my plants. I slacked off this summer. There is a reason there was not a plethora of garden photos on my blog this year. :-P

That’s amazing, you have a ton of basil!
I used to do an egg white facial, but haven’t done anything facial in a long time. I’ll have to give one of those masks a try!

I’m going to try the Grower’s Secret. you have convinced me. Not that my roses need it but my other
    flowering plants suffer a little.

  • Terry

Oh my gosh. Look at your basil. Mine did great too, but not as well as yours. I need to check this out further. Thanks so much for the review.

I have never done a natural food mask, I will have to give it a try. As for the product you reviewed I am going to have to get some and try it next year. I am still shocked on your basil. Amazing!

The mango mask sounds yummy…I mean really good stuffs for the skin. :) I tried a strawberry mask before and loved it. It’s nice to use natural ingredient on our faces.

  • Kiersten @ Oh My Veggies

I’m going to have to check out Grower’s Secret for my garden! My basil plants were rather pathetic this year–I’m glad I planted a lot of them to make up for the lack of leaves!

Ah…..I think the avocado would feel so great on the skin, but I am afraid while I was mushing it up I would get sidetracked and end up munching on chips and guacamole!

  • Kira

I need to check out Grower’s Secret. I have a couple of house plants that are really struggling.
