YEA! We Are Harvesting Veggies!!

I know that most everyone who has planted a garden this season has already been picking veggies for a while now. We didn’t get our garden out until quite late this year so we have just begun to be able to pick some things.

Our tomatoes are really starting to produce and our cucumbers have so many blooms all over them!

So this is some of our first first veggies of the season. The thing is that it is time now to be planting our Fall crops. Seems odd to just be picking Summer veggies and getting ready for Fall ones at the same time. Are you planting any Fall crops and if so which ones are you planting?

Our Chef’s Friend bar is back!! It is such an awesome bar at removing fish, onions, garlic and any other bad odors from your hands. The other day after making Pesto my hands smelled so strongly of garlic so need I say I was thrilled to be using it.

Also if you know anyone who suffers from acne they should check out our Acne Relief bar and balm. It has Tepezcohuite which is endorsed by the Red Cross. Pretty much all of the health food stores in the Nashville / Middle Tennessee area sell our products and this is the number one seller for almost all of them. Check these and all of our other products out at  Eco Naturals

Our garden has been disastrous this year – hardly anything out there apart from beans. Seems like you have some beautiful tomatoes – just right with all that lovely pesto you made :)

No planting for me this year, but I’m quite excited for you and your haul!

I didn’t plant anything this year except a few herbs, I definitely missed having the vegetables. Your produce looks fantastic!

Your veggies look sooo delicious!! I’ve been getting some Roma tomatoes for awhile now, but our bell peppers are finally almost big enough to eat. Can’t wait to make stuffed peppers!!

Wonderful looking veggies! I did plant for an autumn harvest — kale, lettuce, spinach, chard, turnip greens and mustard greens.

What a pretty vege garden with wonderful colours!

  • Amy (Savory Moments)

Love all the pretty and different colored tomatoes you have!

I am sure you are excited with all of your summer veggies. We just planted peas and started broccoli inside but it isn’t coming up. Oh well it is a learning experience. On an exciting note we have had a ton of heirloom tomatoes and last night we canned a batch of salsa! I am loving gardening.

Ooh, everything looks so incredible!! :)

I’ve never planted fall crops. I have to get these summer crops down first. Everything looks so delish!

You planted eggplants. I love eggplant but last year I hardly got any so this year I didn’t bother with it. I am going to buy it at the farmers market.
    Your vegetables look GREAT.

  • Cheryl Barker

Looks wonderful! Love the colors of all the veggies. Good luck with your fall garden, too!

Your garden is beautiful … I can practically taste those tomatoes … and those patty pan squashes are so pretty. We had wonderful cucumbers and then, all of a sudden, the temperature changed by just a bit and they decided they were done. Plants are amazing … they are so sensitive to temperatures changes even when we don’t really notice the difference. I’ve tried growing fall veggies before but just don’t have much luck with containers. I do plant onions which fare nicely … and I may try collard greens and lettuce again.
