It’s Time To Plant!

We have had some of our veggie and herb plants for a few weeks now but it has either been to wet or to cool to plant, I am so excited because it looks like we will be planting them in just a few days! YEA!!

Our son got some of hes plants planted a few weeks ago and they are really looking good He has lots of little tomatoes and so many new blooms on his tomato plants.

He also has some peppers .

                                  And his strawberries look wonderful!

Alan has gotten our garden tilled and ready to plant.

I really like to throw our veggie and fruit peels into our compost pile. Our grandson Will loves to help me with this. Really he takes this job very seriously                                 He was really upset when I told him that not everybody likes to have a compost pile!

But he is so very happy with his new baby brother!

Our new grandson Eli was born this past Monday and what a blessing he is!

Your grandsons are adorable. Lucky you having a garden helper. Kids sure enjoy “helping”, don’t they?

Congrats on your new grandbaby, he is very cute and looks like has a very very proud big brother!

We have planted some things a couple weeks ago, radishes, onions and then this week we planted more veggies and other goodies. We are trying a raise square foot gardening planter so we are excited to see if it works. Our fingers are crossed.

Awww, congrats on the new grandson!!!

I just got around to doing some planting this past weekend, but so far it’s just flowers. I’m hoping to get some veggies and herbs planted before this week is over, but it’s supposed to be pretty rainy, so we shall see…

Oh Congratulations on your new grandson! He’s a doll (so is his big brother). :-) I’m planting veggies again this year but it’s been a strange year. I’ve always collected seeds from one’s years vegetables to plant the next year but, for some reason, this year my seeds, across the board, don’t want to grow. I’m not sure why … perhaps it’s something subtle in the weather. So, I “caved” and bought plants from the local nursery. We’ll get our veggies but I feel a little disappointed that I’m not able to use my collected seeds. Ah well! :-)

Congratulations on your new grandson–he is precious! My veggies are planted, but unfortunately some animal is coming in at night and uprooting them one by one. So I might be planting more soon!
