How Do You Know That Spring Is Here?

I know that Spring is here when I see certain things.

Like seeing these all over the yard!

Like seeing my husband doing this so that

Our garden will be ready to plant! YEA!                                 Seeing my Parsley already looking like this!

And the Lemon Balm right behind it. What lets you know that Spring is here?

We have lots of those dandelions in our yard too! :)

Dandelions definitely a sign, but then I see the daffodil’s and I am happy! Your parsley looks great, sure signs of spring in your yard, looks like a nice sized garden, looking forward to seeing it nice and full!

I always love your garden photos. Yay for spring!

We have many things blooming now that shouldn’t be out until May. I wish I could say for sure spring was here, but the freezing night time temps say otherwise. Crazy crazy crazy spring!

For me it’s the birdsong. There’s a certain tune the blackbird courts with and it warms my heart. He starts at around 5am and becomes my alarm clock :) Our bunny is very happy that the dandelions are in full force too and she’s busy digging her burrow :)

For me it’s the rain showers. I always wind up putting on my Hunter boots and splashing in the puddles! :P

The birds are out in full force in my neighborhood. As early as 5am most days, I can hear them behind the house. I love it. Your herbs are looking beautiful!

My husband already had to mow the lawn twice!! And there are soooo many weeds already. The warm weather really caught me off guard. I’m taking extra time off around Easter to get stuff done in the gardens this year.

Beautiful pics! The longer days let me know spring is here – and I love every minute of it!

I know it’s spring when I stop *having* to wear a coat – I hate coats (I’m cool with jackets) and I can’t wait until I live somewhere I don’t need them!

Wow! I don’t get jealous that often! That is a serious garden!!!

I am so behind in getting my planting ready. Yikes! Gotta start preparing my pots of soil asap. ;)

The birds’ chirping lets me know it’s spring. They seem excited.

That certain smell when snow starts melting… Have it again here in Canada. Paris was different. There trees would suddenly bloom.

Oh shoot…. I just had some lemon balm in my hands and was going to buy it and plant it. My Hus said we were going to Tractor Supply and they had a lot more seeds there. Well, I put it back on the shelf and forgot to look for it at tractor supply. Darn…. Seeing yours makes me wish I would of gotten it.

HI Alecia! So glad you stopped by my blog today. Your lemon balm looks so good!

Beautiful, big! garden – we have a little patch on the side of our house but I’d love to have a large enough yard to grow as big of garden as you’re prepping! Looks great!
